WPCA members enjoyed a different social evening on Tuesday 23 November 2021 when members were invited to bring along musical instruments for an evening of playing, singing and dancing. Brian Lincoln opened the evening playing his guitar and singing a selection of Country and Western and Folk tunes and he was followed by Paul Gardner making his debut performance on clarinet. Members were then invited to join in with the Gay Gordons under Irene Robinson’s instructions and accompanied by the Club’s concertina players. After the dancing there was more music from the concertinas, Alan Twelftree singing Songs of the Sea and Paul Roberts and Chris Reid playing Irish Tunes. The evening concluded with the St. Bernards Waltz which caused much hilarity and afterwards everyone agreed it had been a fabulous evening.
