Echo this week

The Club West Country cruise has come to an end with all the boats back in Weymouth with the exception of Graham Pugh in Palmino who has headed east to the Medwey. Nick Critchell who was in Mojito said “We’ve had great weather and good seas for the most part, and moorings have generally been available on request” and his wife Tracie commented that the cruise had been “awesome”. Thoughts are now turning to the annual Beach Barbeque which is scheduled for Tuesday 16 August when boats will sail to Worbarrow Bay and take dinghies onto the beach for fun and games. Cruising Officer, Chris Reid, is also taking names of those wanting to take part in the end of season cruise in September so that he can book berths. Tuesday social evenings at Castle Cove Sailing Club are a great place to find out more about Club activities and members are encouraged to come down and enjoy a beer and chat.
