Last Tuesday was the last of the WPCA winter talks for this season and the Clubhouse was busy with members listening to Charlie Wheeler talk about a year in the life of Abbotsbury Swannery. Charlie is the manager of the Swannery and his informative talk was illustrated with some amazing photographs of the swans at different times of the year and there were many questions afterwards and plenty of interest in his book “Abbotsbury Swannery Through My Lens.
Next week will be the Club Annual General Meeting which will commence at 8.00 p.m. and will be followed by a buffet for members. The following Tuesday, 6 April will be a Boat Jumble where sailors are sure to pick up a bargain before the sailing season starts.
