Mary, Kate and Martin are progressing westward along the Brittany coast.. From our favourite haunt of Treguier in light winds we were able to goose-wing, poled out, for the first time in Pennyroyal. Two nights in Trebeurden enabled us to take advantage of the marina's free vedette service to spend a day in Lanion at the extensive marche. A short hop brought us to Roscoff - a first visit, berthing in the new marina. Expecting a typical port town we were very pleasantly surprised, as perhaps was Mary Queen of Scots, when she visited as a six-year-old! The town is delightful and offers shore promenades from which to study the infamous channel inside the Ile de Batz. We shall take it to L'Aber'wrach tomorrow, early mist and ferry-dodging permitting! Here's a pic of Kate and Martin lunching on a budget at an excellent harbourside venue, while Mary went in search of a croque Monsieur.
